A Klondike bar is a Practiced Humor-Breyers ice cream novelty consisting of a foursquare of ice cream coated with a thin layer of chocolate.

The Klondike bar was created past the Isaly Dairy Company of Mansfield, Ohio in the early 1920s and named afterwards the Klondike River of Yukon, Canada.[1] Rights to the name were somewhen sold to Skillful Humor-Breyers, a partitioning of Unilever.
The beginning recorded ad for the Klondike was on February 5, 1922, in the Youngstown Vindicator. The confined are generally wrapped with a silverish-colored wrapper depicting a polar bear mascot for the make. Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal of the lower court ruling.[5] In 1988, Kraft settled a trademark dispute with Ambrit Inc., as the erstwhile Isaly Company, Inc. was and so known, for $8.v million.[half dozen]
